UK Forced Rhubarb

Grown in darkness in Herefordshire, this delicious rhubarb is gently forced to grow quickly, creating tender, pale pink, sweeter stalks. Less acidic than outdoor summer rhubarb, with delicate yellow leaves, it’s traditionally harvested by candlelight to stop the stems turning green through photosynthesis.
